0.25mm Premium Craft Wire

Description

These rare 0.25mm Premium Craft Wire  were specifically made available for my Micro Macrame Japanese Fan Jewelry projects. While searching for high-quality 30-gauge wires to meet the demands of my designs, I faced significant sourcing challenges—so I decided to produce my own.

SILVER PLATING

• Electroplating Process: A thin layer of real silver is applied to the surface of the base metal. This is done through electroplating, where the base metal is submerged in a solution containing silver ions and an electric current deposits the silver onto the wire.
• Purpose: The silver layer provides the desired appearance and quality (smooth and shiny).

Non-Tarnish Coating

• Application: A clear, protective layer is added to the silver-plated wire.
• Methods: This is done through electro-coating.
• Purpose: The coating prevents exposure to air, moisture, and chemicals, which are the main causes of tarnishing. It also enhances durability, making the wire resistant to scratches and corrosion.
